Conrad Bobiwash is a visionary educator and school administrator with decades of classroom experience. His compassionate approach to education drives our mission at Morningstar Online School. Conrad is committed to delivering a modern, flexible, and adaptable learning experience for First Nation students. As the leader of Ontario’s Ministry of Education-inspected and online high school, Conrad is dedicated to bridging innovation with traditional Indigenous education.

Beyond his contributions to education, Conrad Bobiwash is recognized as one of North America’s most innovative contemporary Indigenous artists. His work, rooted in the Woodland Movement, evolved into bold Abstract Expressionist compositions, incorporating colours and techniques that redefined Indigenous artistry. Utilizing water media, acrylics, and specialized papers, his creations reflect a deep connection to his cultural heritage. Later in his career, he embraced watercolours to capture the landscapes of his traditional homeland, further expanding his artistic legacy.

My name is Christian Bayly, and I am proud to serve as the principal of Morningstar Online School. I bring over 20 years of experience in educational leadership and program development, with a deep understanding of primary and secondary education theory and practice. I am deeply passionate about First Nation education and I am committed to supporting Indigenous students across Ontario and Canada through accessible and high-quality online learning.

Just like any other high school, Morningstar Online School offers academic guidance for each individual. But with our flexible course management system, created by veteran indigenous and non-indigenous educators, we support our students with an easy-to-use but highly engaging and interactive platform. This has been created for students to become successful at achieving their goals. We make it our mission to work with each student to help them thrive in order to reach their full potential.
HIGHLY QUALIFIED

ENGAGING TEACHERS
This service entails a one to one or small group sessions with their teacher for the specific course they are enrolled in. We hire 100% OCT Certified Teachers with years of teaching experience in primary and secondary schools. We work diligently with our students on the application process for college and university, given that students meet all academic requirements.
PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENT
SERVICES
Our team of healthcare professionals we can arrange a detailed evaluation that helps identify a person's strengths, weaknesses, and learning needs. It can be used to help children, adolescents, and adults with academic, social, and emotional concerns.
SUPPORTING INDIGENOUS CONTENT CREATORS
Our team of expert course design professionals we can help support local Indigenous content creators in bringing to life their original course content. We believe that collaboration extends to Indigenous communities and education is a shared responsibility.
SUMMER CAMP
PROGRAMMING
Our outdoor education experts and service providers we can provide engaging and academically challenging summer camp experiences for children of all ages. High School Volunteers can also earn leadership credit courses they can use towards their OSSD.
